Gyms to use new non-toxic disinfectant platform
CHARLESTON, S.C. – When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, one of the hardest hit places were gyms. Given the close proximity of people in a standard fitness gym, along with the feasibility of spreading infectious diseases given the amount of bodily fluids that are produced (coughing, sweat, etc.), gyms were a hotspot for the spread of the SARS-Cov-2 viruses, causing them to be closed down the longest and causing financial distress for many local gyms throughout the world.
The Paerosol MAG, or micro-aerosol generator, is a new and patented disinfectant platform that can kill up to 99.9999% of viruses, bacteria, and mold – both airborne and surface-borne1. In conjunction with Paerolyte’s liquid disinfectant, the Paerosol micro-aerosol generator uses proprietary technology to create a dry spray, which allows the liquid disinfectant get into hard to reach places – whether it be the fan on the gym ceiling or embedding itself into the foam rollers. With this, the dry spray leaves no liquid residue following a micro-aerosol generator treatment, meaning there is absolutely no cleanup required except for turning on the HVAC system or turning the fans on. While many gyms in the United States implemented many new sanitization rules in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, it became clear that wiping down equipment after use and wearing masks while working out just wasn’t enough. People working out and touching their faces then using the equipment happens more often than one would think, and the Paerosol micro-aerosol generator is the perfect solution to help combat the spread of infectious diseases in a hotspot such as this. The MAG is an easy to use and cost effective solution compared to other products, and with up to 99.9999% efficacy makes it one of the most effective solutions on the market.
“Gyms are a magnet for easily transmittable diseases. Our years of research and development have shown how effective the MAG [micro-aerosol generator] could be in a gym setting.”
